Wear your faith

Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

I love how God tells the Israelites through Moses how transparent their obedience in following God's commands should be, how it should be seen, passed on generations, talked about, the first thing and the last thing on our lips, bound on our hands... It's a beatiful picture of what how our devotion to The Lord should appear: it should be obvious to the outside world. We should wear our faith

unchanging God

'For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.' Isaiah 54:10

We change, circumstances change,
the world may feel like it is falling apart,
the world may be falling apart

BUT He remains, His love never changes. That's something to put ALL our hope in.
